  • If, at the age of 19, you asked Pastor Terrem Dames where he would be today, his focus would have been on worldly accomplishments. He probably would have said, "wealthy business owner" or "running a contracting business in Nassau." The youngest child of a Bahamian family of 11 siblings; a child who was familiar with hunger, now is responsible for feeding God’s people with His Word. He never would have thought that as a young man who was trained on the streets he would one day be the devoted husband of one wife and the loving father of four children. He never would have imagined that one day, in the middle of a club God would call him into a relationship with. But then again, how many of us had a vision for our life that accurately lined up with God’s vision? God’s plan for our life often looks very different than our own. Pastor Dames' life is proof of this truth. As senior pastor of North Dallas Community Bible Fellowship, he challenges others to see themselves from Christ’s perspective. When we encounter the one, true, Holy God, our life is never the same. As the Pastor of NDCBF he invites everyone journey to authentically pursue being true disciples of Christ and making disciples of others. Your life will look a lot different than you imagined it, but “eyes have not seen, nor ears have heard, nor mind conceived what God has prepared for those who love him.”
